Beauty

There is beauty in stubbornness.
in falling down, and picking yourself up

Is it not the rising
and falling
of the waves
that keeps the
Ocean alive?

Find Yourself

I provide you
with water in a bowl,
kneeling with love,
Waiting for you to sip it all.

Something about
the way you Sip it,
makes me think
You have drunk from another bowl…

And that you ain’t thirsty at all

See you will search lands for water that tastes like mine and you will find none, cause i can not be found in anyone except in me.

Thirsty, you’ll come running back, opening my taps but i won’t flow and i will only come in form of drops making sure in your desert nothing grows.

And then only then you’ll know you have been taking, taking and never gave at all.

Darling, just so you know I am not a home for lost souls, don’t come thirsty.
My rivers ain’t answers to your dry questions. Don’t search for me find yourself first.

Rape

 Is an inky stain,
That refuses to obey laundry.

It takes years,
         and years,
         and years to clean
         the stain.
Until then, one carries
          Bitterness, fear and shame.

Womanhood

Womanhood is full of
True joy.
Womanhood is full of
True pain.
Being a woman is to be able to
handle both situations with softness…

You’re expected to act a healer for the household,
for healers don’t feel the pain
when healing those in pain…

Of course the pain is there,
We just choose to feel it later…
